My new pleasureful weakness: Purchasing original, scarce, glorious and inspiring artwork like this. As if vinyl records and comic books weren’t putting me in the financial hole enough. Can’t wait for these babies to be up on my wall.

Yeah, this is hanging on my wall.
I bought it at the Newport Folk Festival this past weekend. That world-famous folk fest that happens to be a 30 minute bike ride from my home (30 Minutes because of those hills and my asthma, but if I were a person with normal breathing ability it’d probably have been 15 minutes).
I walked up to this booth where a pack of artists who call themselves Old Blue were sitting, and Ursula Uppercut called out to me.
She was like, “Yeah…I’ve got this itch on my face…or maybe I’m flexing…but yeah…you want this.” And…I did want it…so I handed my cash to that mustached man that is Kenneth Duquet. Whose name I found out after searching on google for 30 minutes. I found his blog, but he needs a tumblr like NOW because I’d reblog the shit out of him. Which sounds dirty, but isn’t, but might be in the universe of TRON.
Thank you Kenneth. You’ve got a lifelong fan, as long as you continue to rule like a mo’fo at what you do.
